California Moves Presidential Primary to February 5
The California Legislature passed a bill to move the Presidential Primary to February, meaning voters will go to the polls three times in 2008 to select presidential, congressional, legislative, and local candidates, in addition to voting on ballot initiatives. In order to compete with the influx of elections and voter fatigue, campaigns will have to run more targeted, strategic operations to effectively communicate with their communities. With elections this year and next, data-driven campaigning will be key to successful voter mobilization efforts. Read more about the February 5 primary
